Representative case study
Insurance
An anonymised example illustrating how DroneTwins360, with the integrated TrustRank Integrity Engine, supports insurance documentation, source-data validation and claim evidence assessment within a traceable 2D and 3D workflow.

Context
TrustRank validates the source data before it enters the DroneTwins360 reconstruction workflow, while DroneTwins360 produces measurable 2D and 3D outputs for assessment and review. Together, they provide a clearer and more auditable evidence base for insurance documentation and claim evaluation.

Typical processing time
- End-to-end turnaround: ~1.5–3 hours per dataset
How the outputs were used
- Baseline asset documentation prior to or following an incident
- Claim assessment using measurable, integrity-validated spatial evidence
- Provision of verifiable datasets for internal review, dispute handling, or audit
Observed operational impact
- Time to usable documentation:
reduced from 1–2 days to same-day delivery - Reduced ambiguity in claim review:
consistent spatial reference replaces manual photo interpretation - Improved audit readiness:
all outputs traceable to a TrustRank-validated dataset
TrustRank Validation Reports — Independent Technical Assessment
To support independent technical evaluation, we provide two anonymised sample reports generated through the Aviotix TrustRank Integrity Engine, a standalone validation service natively integrated into the DroneTwins360 platform.
These specific reports were produced from an intentionally limited dataset containing only 14 photographs captured with a standard mobile phone. No LiDAR data, Ground Control Points (GCPs), RTK positioning, survey measurements or specialist capture equipment were available for this particular dataset.
This reflects the source material used for this demonstration and is not a limitation of the DroneTwins360 workflow. Where available, DroneTwins360 can also incorporate complementary LiDAR and point-cloud data, RTK positioning, Ground Control Points and other survey-grade spatial references. Where these are not available, imagery-only datasets can still be validated, processed and assessed using the information contained within the available evidence.
The example demonstrates how TrustRank can evaluate source-data integrity before downstream processing, assess individual images and dataset-level consistency, identify visible damage indicators, and generate structured, traceable reports even when the available evidence is limited.
Due to GDPR and privacy requirements, the corresponding 3D model cannot be published. The reports below have been fully anonymised and cleared of personal, identifying and location-specific information.
Data Integrity Report
- Validates every source image individually before reconstruction or downstream assessment rather than relying on sample-based checks
- Examines camera fingerprint characteristics, including JPEG structure, quantisation tables, segment layout and available EXIF patterns
- Checks EXIF and XMP metadata for completeness, coherence and internal consistency
- Evaluates available geolocation and altitude information for spatial plausibility, including comparison with terrain and flight context where applicable
- Applies independent pixel-level analysis for signs of image generation, re-encoding or local visual manipulation
- Reviews dataset completeness, duplication indicators, capture coherence and other available integrity signals
- Reports what was actually found rather than forcing every photograph into pass or fail: a picture is either model-ready, flagged with the specific finding, or marked where a check could not be performed — and why.
- Explains every finding, identifying the affected file, the validation check involved and what the finding does and does not establish
- Provides structured, traceable evidence supporting auditability, technical review and confidence in the underlying dataset

Damage Assessment Report
- Provides AI-assisted assessment of visible damage using validated source imagery and, where available, generated spatial outputs
- Identifies and documents observable damage indicators and affected areas
- Links findings to the available visual and spatial evidence for traceable review
- Provides structured findings, visual references and severity context for independent professional assessment
- Supports claim evidence validation, triage, internal assessment, escalation, audit and downstream expert review

These reports are designed to support evidence-based insurance and claims workflows. They provide structured validation and decision-support evidence but do not replace formal loss-adjustment, engineering, legal or insurance coverage determinations.
Note:
Project details have been anonymised. Downloadable models from this project cannot be shared due to confidentiality obligations.
All workflows, validation checks, metrics and outputs shown are representative of DroneTwins360 and TrustRank use in insurance documentation and claim-assessment contexts. Available outputs depend on the source data supplied for each project.
